1. What we collect

Homeowners: name, phone number, email, project address, and the description you provide, collected when you submit a request. Contractors: business name, phone, email, service areas, and billing history, collected when you sign up and use the dashboard. Everyone: basic technical data (such as IP address) used only for spam and abuse prevention, and is stored as a keyed hash, not in the clear.

2. How we use it

To match homeowner requests with contractors who serve that area and category, to let contractors contact homeowners about a specific request, to operate wallets/billing, to send you messages about your own requests or leads (email and, where you provided a number, text messages), and to prevent fraud and abuse (for example, a phone number must be confirmed with a text-message code before a request is created).

3. Who sees it

A homeowner's contact details and address are shown only to the pros their request is sent to. We do not sell personal data. Service providers we use to operate the platform (payment processing, email, text messaging) receive only what they need to perform that function.

4. Retention

We keep request and billing records as long as needed to operate the platform and to keep financial records (the wallet ledger is append-only and is never deleted, by design, so that money records stay reliable).

5. Your choices

Homeowners can close a request at any time. Contact us to request deletion of your personal data, subject to records we are required to keep (such as financial ledger entries).
